Who We Are
M.A.S.H. (Mobile Animal Services and Help) is a non-profit organization dedicated to end the pet overpopulation crisis in Broward County.
What We Do
To prevent the killing of more than 27,000 surplus pets yearly in Broward County, M.A.S.H. members have raised approximately $175,000 to purchase and outfit the 26-foot mobile unit. The goal is to "Kill the Crisis, no t the Animal" through spaying/neutering, education, and stricter penalties for animal abuse.
Why We Do It
Over the years, M.A.S.H. has shifted its focus from rescuing individual pets to the broader picture of preventing the overpopulation that causes these pets to be regarded as surplus. At M.A.S.H. we believe that there should be a loving home for every pet born and we will not end our efforts until this goal has been reached.
How Can We Do It
After intense fund raising, we have bee able to purchase a state of the art, 26-foot mobile unit for low-cost spaying and neutering, and is equipped for disaster relief.
What You Can Do
We realize that our goal will require hard work, dedications and lots of money. That is why we invite everybody in Broward County to help end this tragedy that results in the killing of all these innocent and healthy pets. Be part of the organization that will make a difference, get involved.
